What the app will ask you, and why.
Nobody should tap "allow" on a prompt they do not understand. Here is the one prompt Lumo Veil causes, in advance.

Step 01
Install from Google Play
Play verifies that the package is signed by us before it installs. Nothing else is needed — no account to create, no email to confirm, no code to enter.

Step 02
Open the app and choose a location
The main screen shows a connect control and the currently selected server. If you have no preference, leave it on the suggested server; it is chosen for connection quality from where you are.

Step 03
Approve the Android VPN permission — once
Android shows a system dialog saying that Lumo Veil wants to set up a VPN connection, and warning that a VPN app can intercept network traffic. That warning is correct and it appears for every VPN on Android; it is the operating system making sure you meant it. Approving it once is what allows the tunnel to exist.

Step 04
Watch for the key icon
While a VPN is active, Android shows a small key icon in the status bar. That icon is your confirmation that the tunnel is up — from the operating system rather than from us. If it disappears, you are no longer connected.

On unofficial downloads
Lumo Veil is published only through Google Play. A VPN client you install from a third-party site can route every byte your phone sends, so an unofficial build of a VPN app is one of the worst things you can install. If you find a "Lumo Veil" package anywhere else, it is not ours — tell us and we will have it taken down.
Turning it off
Leaving should be as easy as arriving.
A privacy product that makes itself hard to remove is not a privacy product. Here is every way out, written by us rather than buried in a help centre.
Revoke the VPN permission
In Android, open Settings, then Network & internet, then VPN, and remove Lumo Veil's profile. Android will no longer allow the app to create a tunnel until you approve it again.
Uninstall
Remove the app the way you remove any Android app. Nothing of yours stays behind on our side, because your browsing was never recorded on our side to begin with.
